Thirty-two-year-old Anirudh Ravichander, simply known as Anirudh, is set to make his North American debut in 2023. The singer-songwriter, composer, and musician recently completed a global tour and sold out several shows in London, Paris, and more. At a young age, he has already achieved a phenomenal music career comparable to an esteemed veteran artist.
Anirudh emerged in 2011 as the music composer for the Indian Tamil film 3. The same year, he worked as a composer for the film Why This Kolaveri Di! One of the songs leaked online, so the team officially released the album and the track quickly became viral across social media platforms. Thanks to his successful early works, Anirudh became India's fastest-rising film music composer. He has also performed as the singer for many of his compositions. Thus, Anirudh became one of the country’s top performers. Anirudh’s music has amassed over 1.5 billion streams on Spotify and garnered over 600 million views on Youtube.
This 2023, Anirudh celebrates his tenth year in music. The commemoration will be marked with a worldwide tour.
