Canadian rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, actor, and entrepreneur Drake is one of the biggest names in hip hop. The rapper holds several chart-based records, having charted 154 songs on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in total (the most of any solo artist in the chart's history), the most simultaneously charted Hot 100 songs in a single week (24), the most time on the Hot 100 (431 weeks) and the most Hot 100 debuts in a week (21). Originally coming to prominence as an actor on the teen drama television series Degrassi: The Next Generation in the early 2000s, Drake released his debut solo album Thank Me Later in 2010, which debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and became certified double platinum by the RIAA. From 27 nominations, Drake has won three Grammy Awards. He releases Scorpion, his fifth studio album, in 2018.
